Arbejales — un pueblo con corazón

The Asociación de Vecinos Llano Roque — Arbejales (formerly San Marcos) was founded in 1977 by a group of neighbours to push for improvements to the village, preserve its traditions and strengthen the bonds between residents. Nearly five decades later it still represents around 150 members, with its social centre on Calle Juan Quintana Quintana, 8, in Arbejales (Teror).

The website brings the association online: the history of the village, the Rancho de Ánimas tradition, the annual fiestas, the church and cemetery, the association’s documents, the availability of the social centre, a suggestions form and a directory of municipal services. News, events and calls for participation are published from a Sanity content management system, so the board can keep the calendar and announcements up to date without touching code.

The site is built with Astro as a fast, accessible static site and deployed on Vercel. It is still in development, with content and sections being added progressively.
